Soap Queen Video - Episode 8

This week I'm teaching one of my favorite projects - candy soap! You may recognize these from my project last year. I think that the video really helps the project to come to life and make more sense.

Great tutorial-as always! I always wondered how to make those.

You already answered my project wish list. I bought some water soluble paper from BB over a year ago and haven't figured out how to use it yet. I'm looking forward to the next episode!

Wonderful and fun tutorial! Anne-Marie, what do you do with the left-over soap in the pyrex cup each time? Just curious...

Carol,

I usually pour it into an extra mold or into a loaf mold to reuse later. One of the nice things about melt & pour is that you can remelt and reuse it.

Gina, Glad you found the blooper funny. =)

Love Love Love watching to see some small detail that I may have not known and always find one!!!

I would like to see a video on cutting loaf molds with a cutter, straight edge or wavy. There has to be some trick to getting truly straight cuts!!

Can't wait for #9.

The soap cutter here:

(mid way down the page for $39.99)

will help you make straight lines.

I'll do a blog post about it in the next few weeks and show how to use it =)

But yes, straight lines can definitely be a problem!

I love this project! I made some in red and white and used peppermint essential oil last Christmas. This video gave me a couple of tips to try, though, to make the project better next time! Thanks!
