And my amazing brother, Erik from ELF Soap Molds, designed these awesome Baby Onesie Molds. In love! I had so much fun making these soaps in the soap lab. I'm hoping you enjoy the project just as much.

Note: The hardest part of this project is deciding what you want your little onesies to look like. As you can see, I had fun making various designs.
ONE: First fill in the seams with pink or blue colored soap (maybe even glitter) using a dropper. It should take about two to three minutes to cool.
TWO: Melt a couple of ounces of clear soap base and let it cool down to 125-130 degrees F. Then spritz the seams with rubbing alcohol and pour a thin layer of clear soap. And here's a new technique that I tried and loved: Cut out your design on water soluble paper, spritz it with rubbing alcohol and drop it in the clear soap. The method on the Soap Queen Video works great too. I just love experimenting with new techniques!
THREE: The other thing to keep in mind is your background color and how the design will look. I put a little glob of white soap base on the Soap Queen TV logo so the logo would show up white with my hot pink pink background.
FOUR: Then pick your background color and glitter. Shown in the picture above is Liquid Pink and Glitter in in Clear soap scented with Mangosteen Fragrance Oil. Mangosteen is a luscious blend of mangosteen, guava and green melon. Sweet and citrusy!
BONUS ONESIE: Just fill in the seams and add little drops of white or colored soap in the middle of the mold. Once it cools, spritz with rubbing alcohol and pour your final layer. For the seams, I used Liquid Pink in White Soap and for the background color I used Liquid Pink in Clear Soap, with Glitter and Mangosteen Fragrance.
